Moonlight Meadows

Shade sat down sighing heavily as they watched the lion leave. "I don't think that will be he last of them." He said slowly. "We should be selective of who and what comes into the territory. Perhaps we should scout the borders to freshen the scents." He didn't want any intruders and shade swore to himself that he would protect moon at all costs.

Moon licked her lips as she settled into submission as the lion retreated south of the territory. She glanced at Shade as she thought how lucky they were to avoid attack from the obvious threat. She approached her mate nuzzling him on the should in a calm response to his orders. "We'll be ready the next time he returns. For now at least, I think patrol at the border is best to avoid any unwanted visitors."

Shade nodded. "Let's go to the forest and see what we find there." He figured it would have been a great place to hide for anyone else who may have entered the territory and wanted to remain undetected.

Moon nodded as she rose to her paws and waited for Shade to lead the way. Moon was a great leader but when I came to sense of direction she was almost completely clueless. Still she was good at leadership aside from direction. "After you."

Shade liked the white she wolfs muzzle once before leading off towards the west of their territory. He kept a good ear on alert for any who may have chosen to remain and follow them anywhere.
